It was Saturday night and there were too many- way too many kids to give them all showers. 12 kids, 2 adults. My brother and sister are off to Japan and I was watching all their lovely children. I just knew that the gas tank would definitely not last through 14 showers and even if it did last it would simply cost too much to use the shower for every. single. person.
Naturally everyones first thought was the bathing river. We pass it everyday. The problem was easy to solve. When my teenagers first suggested it I was adamantly opposed to it. I would not be seen bathing 12 kids in the local bathing river. After about 10 minutes of convincing I realized that the only thing stopping me was my pride (and the thought that my big sister Denna would find out). And honestly, who wants pride? The local bathing river was great fun and I’m certain that we’ll be doing frequently now that we’ve discovered all it’s virtues 🙂
